Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
We ask patients to phone five days after blood tests and two weeks after x-rays.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your Patient Access account
- phone or visit us between 10.30am to 4.30pm and we will tell you what the results are – The reception staff will be able to read the doctor’s comments and book appointments as necessary, however, they are not medically trained so cannot interpret the results themselves
- Results can only be disclosed to the patient or their designated Carer who has the patient’s consent. You may be asked to verify your identity on the phone or in person to comply with patient confidentiality rules and The Data Protection Act.
